The attorneys at GreeneWilson have over 25 years of combined trial experience. Their federal criminal practice takes them all over the Eastern District of North Carolina, representing clients facing all kinds of legal issues. Their day to day trial work is in Craven, Pamlico and Carteret County where they handle traffic matters, misdemeanors, felonies, and domestic matters. As a team they work hard and with compassion to bring clients results and closure on what are often life’s most emotional and life altering events.
Kelly Greene
Kelly Greene was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kelly attended high school at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. He attended Wake Forest University where he earned a B.A. in English in 1996. He attended law school at Campbell University and received a J.D. in 1999. Kelly was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1999.
Kelly is a member of the Craven County Bar Association, serving as its President in 2003-2004. He is a member of the United States Eastern District of North Carolina, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the North Caroline Bar Association, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
Kelly focuses his practice on state and federal criminal matters and family law.
Thomas R. Wilson
Thomas R. Wilson was born in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated from John Burroughs High School in 1995. He attended Miami University in Ohio, where he earned a B.A., cum laude, in English in 1999. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University in 2003. At Saint Louis University he served as a faculty fellow, researching and writing on administrative and environmental legal issues. He also received academic achievement awards in administrative law, constitutional law, criminal procedure, advanced legal research and writing, and first amendment law. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2003. From 2003-2005, Tom served as a research assistant and clerk to the honorable Judge Douglas McCullough of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Prior to forming GreeneWilson in 2007, Tom was an associate at the law firm Stubbs & Perdue, P.A. from 2005-2007. His areas of practice include state and federal criminal law, criminal and civil appeals, and environmental law.
Richard E. Rowe
Attorney Richard E. Rowe was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio in 1944. He graduated from Ravenswood High School in Ravenswood, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University, graduating with a major in Finance in 1966. At the West Virginia University Law school he was a member of the Law Review, graduating Order of the Coif in 1969. He joined Wilson Frame & Rowe in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he practiced primarily in criminal defense, personal injury, product liability, and domestic relations law. In 1978 he became a partner in Goodwin & Goodwin in Charleston, West Virginia, where his practice areas included civil litigation for defense clients, Chapter 13 and 11 Bankruptcy for debtor clients, products liability, personal injury, and professional liability for the plaintiff. In 2011, he became “Of Counsel” to GreeneWilson in New Bern, North Carolina where his practice areas include federal criminal defense, civil litigation, and personal injury law. He is a member of the bar of West Virginia, West Virginia District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina District Court for the Eastern District, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and The Supreme Court of the United States.
